Besides the actual size occupied by the files you can see in Athento, the used size shown in the Admin Console includes:
- The size of each version you save of a document.
- Backup copies of the binary repository. In most Athento plans, there are 3 different backups to ensure service continuity.
- System logs.
- Documents in the recycle bin of your spaces.
Additionally, your storage capacity is used to house the data describing your documents, which is stored in databases, other indices, or Elastic Search, and for which there is also a triplicate copy.
Some of the data stored for each of your documents include:
- Field values.
- Document feature values.
- Comments about the document.
- Signature information.
- Document permission information.
- Document version information.
- Values regarding document relationships and their location within the system.
- Audit trails of field value changes.
- Audit trails of document accesses.
- Audit trails of document submissions.
- Audit trails of document capture.
- Audit and information about processing, life cycles, etc.
The information stored and managed by Athento grows exponentially with the number of documents or records you store in Athento, as well as the resources needed to manage such information.
IMPORTANT!
Console data is not real-time statistics.
The console indicates when they were calculated.
Why don't the statistics data on the Teams tab add up the same as the Usage tab of the console?
The Teams statistics tab only includes the actual size used by the current versions of the documents in each team.
