Recovery Plan

Athento follows Backup Policies that allow the recovery and continuity of the service.

 Data Recovery

In the event of a catastrophic system failure, a backup copy will be made available to users within 8 business hours as long as it does not involve exceptional circumstances of force majeure that are not within Athento's power to act (For example, the primary datacenter and the datacenter hosting the replica or copy is affected as well).

Data Recovery Plan

Functional replicas of the servers in production are created in an automated way. In case of system failure, the following plan will be followed:

1. Enabling replica instance: The functional replica of the server in production will be made available to the users of the service, so that they can use the service.
2. Migration to a production environment: Replica machines will be migrated to a data center ready to provide optimal customer service.

This Recovery Plan is a semi-automatic process.
