RTO (Recovery Time Objective)
This is the time it would take, in the maximum case, to recover the service in the event of any serious incident or disaster.
This time is set as the standard for any Athento service at 8 calendar hours.
RPO (Recovery Point Objective)
The volume of data at risk of loss that the organization considers tolerable.
This time is set as the standard for any Athento service at 24 calendar hours.
* The RTO and RPO times defined here are not contractually binding.
* Each customer may have a different RTO and RPO if explicitly contracted.
Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption / Maximum Tolerable Downtime
Athento does not provide a default Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption (MTPD) since the nature of processes implemented by our clients varies in criticality. Only for reference purposes, Athento manages an MTPD of 24 natural hours.
Athento recommends its clients assess the criticality of the processes implemented in the tool to define MTPD times that make sense for their business.
*The inclusion of MTPD commitments in the contract may affect the service price.
Important recommendation regarding the RPO
In order to improve the RPO Athento recommends that applications that are integrated with Athento store backup copies of the documents they send via API.
As a minimum, it is recommended to store a copy of the documents uploaded in the last 24 hours, although it is preferable to have a complete copy of what has been sent via API.
