Use of Third-Party Services

Athento relies on third-party services for various operational and functional purposes.
This document lists some of these services. Please note the following:

• Except for services strictly related to optional functionalities or integrations, your company’s data and documents are NOT transferred outside of your instance of Athento.
  You may choose not to use functionalities that require third-party services.

• The list of providers included in this document may change over time. Athento reserves the right to discontinue the use of any mentioned service or to incorporate new ones.

• Depending on your Athento configuration, some of these services may not be used.

Infrastructure, Storage, and Deployments

Athento’s SaaS service operates on third-party virtual or physical servers and may use third-party storage solutions.

If your organization is based in the European Union, the infrastructure used to host your Athento instance will always be located within the EU.

Monitoring

Athento uses third-party services to monitor application performance, availability, and error detection.
These services help us maintain reliability and improve system resilience.

• Sentry — error and exception tracking

• New Relic — performance and error monitoring

• Datadog — application performance monitoring

• GhostInspector — end-to-end testing

• Blazemeter — testing and load simulation

• Zendesk — incident management and reporting

User Experience

To enhance user experience, Athento monitors usage patterns and provides in-app guidance to help users maximize the value of the platform.
Data collected for this purpose focuses on improving usability and product adoption.

• Hotjar — analysis of feature usage, user experience, and product surveys

• Google Analytics — usage statistics and behavior tracking

• Google Forms — product roadmap surveys

• Canny — user participation in the product roadmap

• Releasenotes.io — publication of product release notes

• ActiveCampaign, LLC — sending user assistance emails (users may unsubscribe at any time)

Data Collected for User Experience Analysis

Examples of data processed for user experience analysis include:

• Click interactions within the application

• Heatmaps reflecting user interface engagement

• Visits to in-app URLs and navigation sources

• Device information (browser type, operating system, etc.)

The Athento product and engineering teams utilize several third-party tools to support software development, testing, and version control.

Athento uses third-party services to strengthen the security and monitoring of its systems.

Functional Integrations

Certain Athento functionalities and integrations make use of third-party services.
These are optional and enabled only upon customer request or configuration.
In some cases, the use of these integrations may involve the transmission of documents or data to the respective third-party provider.

• Hugging Face — artificial intelligence and machine learning operations
