For large dropdown lists, it is recommended to enable the online search option. This is a feature of Choice or Dropdown List fields that prevents all the list values from loading when the page loads. When this option is activated, the data loads as the user types a few letters of the option they are looking for. The online search option helps filter and find options quickly, improving usability and efficiency when dealing with too many selection options.
Configuring a Choice field with the Internal Dictionary subtype to behave as an online search allows the user to search for an option, dynamically fetching the options from the server.
