How version control works on Athento?

Athento has a semiautomatic version control system.

The document version automatically increases when the main file is replaced. Users also can force the version change by clicking on the Validate button. 

Athento's version nomenclature consists of two digits. The one at the left of the point represents big changes on the document. The digit at the right of the point represents small changes.

Athento counts on a version store that allows users to recover previous versions of a document.
