Athento allows you to lock and unlock documents so that they can be edited or not for a period of time or permanently. This functionality is useful for users to collaborate and make changes in an organized way avoiding the loss of shared work.

Locking documents can be done manually from the document view.

Or automatically, using different automatisms available in the operations marketplace to lock or unlock documents. These operations or automations can be executed from a lifecycle, from a button on demand or from the automatic processing of documents.
