What is a Team and what can you use it for?

Teams are the way in which Athento allows multi-tenancy. In other words, Teams allow you to separate data from different processes or work teams within the same Athento.

Some examples of the use of Teams can be:

• A group of different companies that want to have a single document management system for the whole group, but that want the documents of each company stored separately.
• Companies with offices in different countries that would like to have just one document platform, but they also want each country to have access only to their own documents.
• Different business processes implemented in Athento, for example, Customer Management of Sales Opportunities and Supplier Invoices. You can use a team for each process, so customer documents do not get mixed with provider invoices.

Teams allow you to have different workflows, inboxes, look & feel, etc., under the same Athento.
