What is a QA environment?

The QA or Quality Assurance environments are Athento environments in which tests are performed to ensure that the software complies with minimum quality requirements in terms of:

• Security
• Performance and availability
• Quality of developments and customizations

These minimum requirements will be defined by market standards, as well as by the characteristics of Athento's plan, or the professional services contracted by the client. 

Most of these tests are automated using off-the-shelf tools, but manual tests are also performed by our technical team, customer's testing team or partner.

All of Athento's quality assurance configurations that are tested in QA will be subsequently moved to a production environment, in some cases first passing through UAT environments.

For QA tests related to new features, customizations or parameterizations of Athento, our team will provide test cases in Testrail format.
