If you need to hire a pre-production environment, you can do it in two different ways:
- Sandbox environment: pre-production environment where users can test new configurations, adhoc developments and other customizations. They are located on the same production servers, so that the migration to production is done faster and with less risk by sharing environment variables and configurations.
- Hosted environment: Environment for tests to be performed by Athento's or the Client's technical team and to perform integrations. Performance tests can be performed here. As it is a different server from the production server, it is computationally isolated and reduces the risk of affecting the production environment. Likewise, type 3 and 4 changes that imply a change in the document manager's base SW can be tested without affecting production. Bear in mind that these environments offer lower performance than the production environment. If you require an environment with identical features, you will have to hire a second plan equal to the production one.
