How to generate documents from a template?

Athento allows composing documents from a template and the values filled in a form.

This functionality is perfect for those documents in which we always have the same structure, but some data changes in each case.

Adding a template

Athento supports the following kind of templates:

• HTML.
• JasperReports
• Microsoft Word and Excel

Document templates are managed from the Template tab in the form administration.

Generate the main file of your document from a template

From the document view, in the quick action menu (top right), click on the Generate Document icon. Wait a few seconds and the PDF will be displayed.

Generate related documents from a template (or just download them)

From the Quick Actions menu, use the Generate Related option.

Athento will ask you to select the template to use before printing your new related document.
