To request approval of a document as a lifecycle step or via a button type field, you can use the Send approval email automation task (op_send_delivery_v2).
Automation task set up
This automation task will ask for some parameters.
- Ask for approval: This option will show approval and reject buttons on the screen.
- Email : Use this parameter if you always want to sen the request to the same email address.
- Email field (metadata_type_name_email): In this case, the email address will be taken from a field of the document. Use this parameter when email addresses will change from one document to the other.
If email and email field are both filled in, Athento will take the email address from Email field, ignoring the other parameter.
