To request approval of a document by email, you can use the Send approval email operation (op_send_delivery_v3).
Configure the operation
This operation will ask you for several parameters that must be configured.
Next, we explain the different configuration parameters that the operation receives:
- Request approval (ask_for_approval): Indicates whether an approval will be requested or not.
- Email: Email to which the document approval will be sent. If it is a fixed email.
- Email field (metadata_type_name_email): Field that will contain the email to which the approval request will be sent.
- Comment field (metadata_type_name_comment): Field that will contain the comment to be included in the approval.
- Delivery template (delivery_template): Name of the template that will be sent by mail to the indicated email to inform about the approval.
- Document types to attach (document_type_name_related_document_types): Document types of the related documents to be attached to the approval.
- Attach main document (attach_main_document): Indicates if the document for which the approval is being requested is attached.
Important. If both the “email” parameter and the “email field” parameter are completed Athento will take the value of “email field”, ignoring the “email” parameter.
