How to add a related document as part of a record in a table?

Athento provides several column types for table type fields. One of these is the "Select" type. This field allows you to select one or several options from those specified in the selector. 

The "Select" type columns can be: 

• Dictionaries: If this option is selected, the dictionary from which the options will be obtained must be indicated. More information.
• Related documents: If you select this option, the options that will appear in the selector will be the related documents of the document where the field is being edited.

In addition, for these field types you can also indicate whether you want to allow the selection of a single option or multiple options.

To make these settings, access the advanced administration in Home » Smartmetadata » Smart table fields.

Once inside the field to be configured, go to the "Smart table select field configuration" configuration area.

In this configuration you can indicate whether you want the field to be multiple and the type of options that will appear, as mentioned above.
