Athento allows you to add a search widget to new dashboards. These widgets are designed to facilitate access to specific documentation and have a pre-configured search at the form and field level.
For example, if you have a Received Invoices panel, you could create a search widget that allows you to enter an invoice number and quickly access the invoice in question.
To add one of these widgets to a dashboard, in dashboard edit mode, click on the “Add widget” button. In the widget type, select the “Search widget” option.
To configure the widget, select a form and the field you want to search by.
By clicking on the advanced options drop-down menu, you can include additional filters that will be applied to the documents listed in the widget:
Once you have configured and saved it, you are ready to go.
The search results displayed in the widget are limited to five documents. To view all results, click on the “View all results” link. This will take you to the advanced search with the specified filter.
To change the search result limit, go to the advanced settings and modify the “Limit” parameter.
