To create functions for queues, you will have to follow a series of steps.
First of all, you must have the new queue panel activated. You can see how to do it in this article.
Once inside the queue, accessing the options in the drop-down in the upper right corner, select the Edit functions option:
This will open the following window, where the different functions belonging to this queue must be configured:
On the left side, you will find the list of existing queue functions, where you can see all the functions that have been created, as well as the option to add a new function.
On the right side, you can view and edit the configuration of the selected function, or fill in the configuration for the creation of a new function in case you select this option. There are three fields:
- Label: The name under which the queue function will be saved.
- Function: It is the function that will be applied to the metadata to obtain the final result. At the moment only the Sum option is available, i.e. the summation of the values of the specified metadata.
- Columns to apply: These are the metadata on which the previous function will be applied.
The selected function, if selected, will be applied to the selected metadata on all the documents corresponding to the queue.
Once the function is saved, it can be configured to display its result in the customizable dashboard widgets, as detailed in this article.
