Authentication with Identity Server for connection to external web service

Athento allows the authentication with Identity Server for connection with external web service.

In the case that an authentication by Identity Server is required, when using the operation “Send document information to web service” to send information to an external web service.

The following information must be included in the parameters of this operation:

• Username for authentication: user name in Identity Server.

• Config property name for password: add the name you have given to your Config Secret Property object that contains the password of your user in Identity Server.

   

In this case it is necessary to create the Config Secret Property by going to advanced administration and adding a new config secret property, filling in the following parameters:

• Name: Name of the connection
• Description
• Value: in this parameter you must enter the password of the Identity server user.
